LMD is an iron-fortified infant formula & medical food powder that is free of the essential amino acid leucine. It’s specially designed for infants, children, and adults with leucine metabolism disorders, including isovaleric acidemia.

LMD provides all other essential amino acids, as well as nonessential amino acids, carbohydrates, fat, essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.

Plant-Based Oils:
Palm olein, coconut, soy, and high oleic sunflower oils have important fats for infant and toddler growth and development.

Amino Acids:
The amino acid profile is adapted to meet the needs of infants, children, and adults with documented leucine metabolism disorders, including isovaleric acidemia.

Modified Corn Starch:
Serves as a source of carbohydrate, an emulsifier to prevent separation in formula.

Calcium Phosphate:
A source of calcium to support bone health.

Mortierella Alpina Oil & Crypthecodinium Cohnii Oil:
Sources of DHA and ARA, important for brain and eye development.

Ethyl Vanillin:
A flavoring agent.

Sodium Citrate:
A source of sodium.
